Earth Day Family Fun Night: This Wednesday, 6:30 – 8:00 pm
Let’s Create Games and Toys! Led by Rebecca Stees of Art Yowza in the Franklin Multipurpose Room
Come change the world by creating a totally new game or toy using commonly-found old materials! This is a fun social opportunity for families to create art together. At 7:30, you’ll have a chance to make a one minute video explaining your creation and we’ll be photographed for the yearbook. Please bring some recyclable supplies – paper, fabric, foam, toilet paper rolls, egg cartons, corks, wood, Popsicle sticks, crepe paper, magazines with pictures, old t-shirts, you name it! Well supply the tape, scissors and markers.
There will also be the opportunity to make useful bags out of old t-shirts, so take a look through your t-shirt drawer and bring it in to be re-used. Any questions, please contact Kathryn Boyle at firstname.lastname@example.org.
